A "go-to" trial counsel for complex, high risk litigation received documents that had "bad text" within the PDF. While the reason for the illegible text remains uncertain, the text was transparent and appeared to be someone's attempt to put text on top of an image before it came to DISCO.
DISCO quickly marshaled resources and removed the illegible text from the documents. Then, using DISCO's OCR process, the system extracted the correct text from the images and put the readable, transparent text onto the documents for review. DISCO's inter-departmental teamwork quickly handled the bequeathed textual issues and provided a thorough, world-class engineering response to the presenting problem.
